If a few anecdotes and some cherry picked bad examples constitute illumination, that seems to be a rather low threshold.

Thank Richard Dawkins for an illuminating book instead! Finally a book on the subject that sums up all the arguments and can be read by everyone.

Thanks for the link, one thing, I’m not a professor. Academic professional is just what they call the professional (i.e. non-union) staff at this campus.
