Thanks for writing, guys.

Eric, your comment essentially echoes my own, in that they just won’t question stories coming their way that fit their narrative. And they bury the corrections.

To ‘Political Satire’ and Mike, most of what you see on Fox that you don’t see elsewhere are the stories that don’t fit the aforementioned narrative. Yes, Fox News leans right, but ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN lean farther to the left, but no comments about them, eh? (I will note that CNN has worked to correct this, especially in this presidential election season. Kudos to them.)

Glad we have blogs and forums to go to for the real news.

They are so sensationalized, it’s like the Newsday for TV. Seems like the increase in speed of technology and everyone wanting to be first to press, that we have sacrificed accuracy with speed.

There is NO news agency that can hold a can candle to them when it comes to B.S. news!

After a while, the question of this being one huge coincidence has to be addressed.

So then, to address your point that I may be assigning too much strategy to this, the question becomes; does the MSM simply get fooled because they are more, in general, sympathetic to the cause the fake news is coming from, or is it an intentional strategy (and has it always been) that they just don’t ask as many questions in those cases? One can only plead ignorance so many times before it begins to look like a strategy. No, they probably don’t have an arrangement with the Palestinian Authority, but playing their useful idiot is just as much a strategy as if they did.

I think you’re assigning too much strategic thought to the MSM by claiming that they’re playing “more heavily to its biases in order to keep it core constituency” … as far as I can see, they’re simply struggling to play catch-up and decise how best to respond to this new world.

On the other hand, I think it has caused the mainstream media to play more heavily to its biases in order to keep it core constituency. Could be a plus — getting it exposed — or could be a minus — if more people are taken down the misinformed path.

There are so many things they don’t tell us, yet some of the things they do tell us is not true. I just use it as a general guide but I take everything the media says with a grain of salt.

I think that if we could just tell the American people to cover their eyes and turn away for a minute, we could let our TRAINED forces take care of the problems and come home. Unfortunately it will never happen as long as we continue to have an extremely liberal media presence.
