Of supply and demand, that is. McQ at Q&O discovers that–surprise, surprise–the rise in the minimum wage is, in fact, putting people out of work.
The law which is supposed to help the “working poor” does precisely the opposite.
But it’s the intentions that matter, don’tcha know?

Imagine. Employers who pay slave wages can employ more plebes than those who pay an honsest wage. Who would have ever figured that one out?

If we would just mandate that minimum wage be $84.25, we’d all be rich and employed, I’m sure.
The question is, is it better for the poor to be more fully employed at a lower wage, or for them to have fewer job opportunities at slightly higher wages
